Watch the Blast in Slow Motion
The Nov. 09, 2008 large blast on the Rock Slip
This short movie shows the hole detonation pattern for the 17,700+ M3 blast on November 09, 2008. There is a 25ms delay between holes and 43ms delay between rows with
each hole having a 500ms (1/2 second) delay to the bottom. All blasts have a delay between holes to ensure that the vibration levels are low and to allow the best fragmentation - when
each subsequent blast occurs, the surrounding holes have already blasted leaving room for the expansion of the rock.
