Earthworks for mine site preparations at the Brucejack Mine, located in northwestern British Columbia, included construction of level areas for mine facilities and lay-down areas, drainage, and the contact water pond.

Scope of Work

Arthon, with Belvedere Place Contracting Ltd. (BPC), performed site preparation and earthworks for the development of the Brucejack Mine. BPC and Arthon continue to work together on advantageous projects.

  • Maintaining a demanding 24-hour work schedule
  • Severe winter weather conditions including working around avalanche blasting and road closures
  • Transportation of crews, supplies, subcontractors, and equipment to and from an incredibly remote 5000-foot elevation location
  • A high security accessed site
