This project in the City of Kelowna, involving campus roadway construction and an overpass spanning Highway 97, was designed by the BC Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure (MoTI) to allow high volume traffic access to the newly developed University of British Columbia Okanagan (UBCO) campus.
This project included major roadworks and drainage, earth moving, bridge embankments, paving, and signage.
Beginning in 2007, construction of this $6.8 million contract involved embankments for the overpass crossing Highway 97, associated on- and off-ramps, internal campus roadways, and access routes for the UBCO campus.
